Labor Day Weekend 2006
9/1/06 - 9/5/06 - For Labor Day Weekend we made the drive
out to Arizona to visit Bill's family. We stayed with Jimmy and his family
which gave us a chance to meet his newest little girl, Angel. Uncle Jimmy
hosted the Labor Day BBQ at his house on Sunday. Grandma and Grandpa Rose were
there along with Uncle Bob, Aunt Sherry, cousin Bobby and cousin Heather and
her husband, Steve. Tyler had a great time playing with his cousins all weekend
and even had a blast in the pool! The weather the first couple of days was
unbearable, but by the end of the weekend the weather had cooled off (closer to
99 degrees rather than 105 degrees) due to a couple of rain storms that moved
through the area. Even so, we spent most of our time indoors, out of the heat.
We're just not used to it being 95 degrees at 8 in morning here in California!
